Joslin's Research Team represents the most comprehensive and dynamic research program dedicated exclusively to diabetes anywhere in the world. Nowhere else can you find under one roof such a breadth of diabetes research knowledge and treatment expertise.

More than 300 scientists at Joslin are committed to pursuing innovative pathways of discovery to prevent, treat and cure type 1 and type 2 diabetes and their complications. Some of the most important historical discoveries and improvements in diabetes care worldwide were developed at Joslin.

• TINSAL-T2D: Seeking volunteers ages 18-75 with type 2 diabetes using oral medication or diet and exercise, who are not well controlled, for a research study that is looking to see the effect on blood sugar control of an investigational medication.

Joslin is part of the nationwide Diabetes Research Centers. The NIDDK-supported Diabetes Endocrinology Research Centers (DERCs) and Diabetes Research and Training Centers (DRTCs) are part of an integrated program of diabetes and related endocrinology and metabolism research.
